The most effective hypnotherapists in the world practice what is known as client centered hypnosis. This means the well being of the client comes first, above and beyond anything else. It is possible to earn a living as a hypnotist, though many people start their practice while they continue to work another job.

What is Client Centered Hypnosis

Client centered hypnosis involves work withing each individual in a unique way, without attempting to put them into a mold or pattern. Everyone is different and there is no way to know how many sessions will be required to assist your client in resolving their issues. Sometimes it takes 5 sessions to completely resolve the problem, though it may take less or it may take more. It all depends on the individual, their level of response and how deeply seated their issue is.

Sometimes it is possible to make a determination of the number of sessions required after the first session, other times it can take several sessions. In some cases it is possible to resolve certain issues in 1 session, such as working with a stop smoking client. Those who presume to know how many session will be required before the first session are not practicing client centered hypnosis, they are putting themselves out in front of the client. This path is the wrong path to take.

When you put the client first you do not have to worry about repeat business, that is client centered hypnosis. Therapist centered hypnosis puts the needs of the therapist ahead of the client, this is not good. This Hypnotherapy Training includes 10 days of instruction divided into two 5 day levels and the sessions will be held Wednesday through Sunday from 9 am to 7 pm.
